We at Plan Works are looking for our next team member and, as an outsourced paraplanning firm, we work with a number of different Financial Planners and financial planning firms. We find that this provides an extra challenge but one that we very much enjoy.

Our clients work with us not just to write their suitability letters or produce annual review reports, but to provide true collaboration. We work with the Financial Planner to ensure that any recommendations made are in the best interest of the client as well as being technically the best way to implement the client’s financial plan.

We are now looking for a Paraplanning Administrator to support our Paraplanners.

This is an ideal role for someone who has some financial planning firm experience, maybe as an Administrator or Trainee Paraplanner, but is looking for their next challenge or complete support in becoming an amazing Paraplanner.

If you are already studying towards one of the professional qualifications then great! We will support you further with this if you need as well as providing on the job coaching to ensure you are achieving everything you want and need to.

We pay a salary of £24,000 per year on the basis of working 35 hours per week, with an additional working from home allowance of £1,000 per year as the role will be working remotely from your own home.

We are more than happy to consider flexible working or a fewer working hours as we want to provide true flexibility to everyone in our team.

As part of your day to day role as a Paraplanning Administrator with Plan Works you will be responsible for helping the Paraplanners with reviews of existing plans – mainly pensions and investments as well as drafting annual review reports.

Reviewing existing plans is a key part of financial planning to ensure that the Financial Planner has all the information they need to make suitable recommendations to their client.

The majority of financial planning firms offer annual reviews to their clients as part of their ongoing service, which means that the Financial Planner must provide a review of their plans under their management and confirm whether they remain suitable. We help them by producing a snazzy report for their client.

We try as hard as we can to write in Plain English and make our reports as client friendly as possible, as we do not believe that writing reports “just for compliance” is fun or practical.

We know that us Paraplanners struggle to identify as being “amazing” but if you truly are amazing – come and be amazing with us.

We have expanded in the past 18 months to accommodate the demands of Financial Planning firms needing outsourced Paraplanning. Although we plan on remaining a small company, we are now looking for our next team member.

As an outsourced paraplanning company, we work with a number of different Financial Planners. We find this provides both variety and an additional challenge over and above what you might experience as an “in-house” Paraplanner.

We are now looking for a Paraplanner to work directly with the Financial Planners that we support.

This is an ideal role for someone who has considerable paraplanning experience, whether “in-house” or outsourced and is absolutely passionate about REAL financial planning.

You will need to be at least level 4 Diploma qualified and if getting more letters after your name is your thing – we will support you, as well as providing on the job coaching to ensure you are achieving everything you want.

We pay a salary of £40,000 per year based upon a 35-hour week, with an additional working from home allowance of £1,000 per year, as the role will be working remotely from your own home.

As part of your day-to-day role as a Paraplanner with Plan Works you will be responsible for collaborating with the Financial Planners that we support in writing Recommendation Reports, putting together cash flow forecasts, discussing planning ideas and a whole load of other exciting things.

We are passionate about writing in Plain English to make our reports as client friendly as possible. We put the end client at the centre of the Financial Planner’s advice, and we especially do not consider our reports to be a compliance tick box exercise.
